Could you point out where? What episode for example?

It's in episode 7 when Kai comes to Ichika to return the repaired earing and her mother announces him as mr. Shuria and then he enters Ichika's room saying this. (Look at 15:08).

I actually got the DVDs back out and re-watched the series recently. I think it is some sort of joke that I just don't get - it is Manatsu who calls up that "Shuria-san" is here ("Ichika, Shuria-san da yo!"). When Kai comes in the room he annouces himself "Konban wa, Shuria-san desu" - but the Japanese never refer to themselves using -san so I can only assume he was playing along with what Manatsu had said. As near as I can make out Shuria is a female given name, not a surname. I can make out Shuria is a female given name, not a surname.
